Rufous Hummingbird

This gorgeous Rufous Hummingbird was feeding at the Hummingbird and Butterfly exhibit at The Living Desert, in Palm Desert, CA. I had only had my camera for a few weeks and I spent hours in this exhibit learning how to use this magical camera in my hands. This shot was one of the first that made me realize just how much fun I was going to have.
