Grazing In The Grass - Red Shoulder Hawk

This lovely hawk landed almost at my feet while I was photographing ducks at Lake Balboa Recreation Park in Sherman Oaks, CA. I was in between doctor’s appointments and thought I would stop here and see if I could see any interesting birds! This place did not disappoint!
