Costa’s Hummingbird On Succulent

This gorgeous male Costa’s Hummingbird was a daily visitor to my backyard garden all of Spring and Summer. He would defend a certain feeder from this perfect vantage point and chase all the other male suiters away. At any time, I can have up to 20 Costa’s and Anna’s hummingbird lined up at the three feeders. I call them all them “Sassy Pants”.
